Amy Corry, CSW

“Being queer and neurodivergent myself, I uniquely understand the complex impact that these differences can have on how a person interacts with the world around them as well as their relationships with others, in both beautiful and challenging ways. I look forward to creating a collaborative therapeutic alliance with you!” -Amy

I believe that every person has the ability to create a life that is meaningful to them. I enjoy helping neurodivergent individuals find what works for them and help neurodiverse couples and families understand one another better. You are the expert of your own experiences, and I want to empower you to draw on your internal and external resources to meet your goals.

I use a strengths-based perspective to help clients live their best lives and see the potential I see in them. I have experience with neurodiversity, LGBTQIA+ clients, and faith-based needs, among many other life experiences that help me see the nuance of different perspectives.

Amy is a queer autistic CSW who did an internship at ScenicView Academy as a bachelor of social work student at UVU, and fell in love with working with "their people." They went on to earn a master of social work to extend their ability to work with the neurodivergent community. They now have additional experience working with the LGBTQIA+ population, religious populations, and others, thoroughly enjoying getting a diverse range of experiences. They use elements of motivational interviewing, ACT, and a strengths-based perspective. They would love to empower you to build a life that is meaningful to you.
